II. KICK OFF-MEETING 2010 (Programme & Venues)
The NICLAS 2010 Kick off-Meeting (for NICLAS coordinators of the partner universties only) has been organised on Dec 18/19, 2009 at the Law Faculty of the University of Vienna.

Hotels and Directions in Vienna
Direct way from the Airport to the University: Take the train going to Vienna and get off at "Wien Mitte" (the conventional one, the blue "S-Bahn", is cheaper: € 3,40 including transportation in Vienna, but stops at every station; there is also the direct green CAT available, which is a couple of minutes faster but more expensive), change to metro line U4, direction Heiligenstadt, go 2 stations to "Schottenring", change to metro line U2, direction Karlsplatz, go 1 station to "Schottentor". See maps above for the 2 minutes walking to the law faculty building (Universität Wien, Rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultät - "Juridicum", Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010 Wien).
From Vienna International Airport to Hotel Bajazzo: Take the train going to Vienna, step out at "Wien Mitte", change to metro line U4, direction Heiligenstadt, go 2 stations to station "Schottenring", enter Eßlinggasse and go up until No. 7, Hotel Bjazzo; proceed for another 2 min up the street for arriving at the law faculty (see maps above).
From Vienna International Airport to Benediktushaus: Take the train going to Vienna, step out at “Wien Mitte”, change to the metro line U3 direction Simmering to "Herrengasse". See maps above for the 4 minutes walk to the hotel at Freyung 6a; cross the courtyrad of the monastery to arrive atthe law faculty building (Universität Wien, Rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultät - "Juridicum", Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010 Wien).
Arriving at Südbahnhof: Take the tram line D, direction “Nußdorf”, step off at station “Schottentor” for the law faculty and Benediktushaus, or next station “Börse” for Hotel Bajazzo. See maps above for the 2 minutes walk to the venues mentioned.
Arriving at Westbahnhof: Take the metro line U 3, direction Simmering, step off at station "Herrengasse". See maps above for the 4 minutes walk to the law faculty building, the Benediktushaus or Hotel Bajazzo.
Getting your room: Please note, that the reception at Benediktushaus closes at 19:00. If you plan to arrive there after 19:00, please inform the hotel and they will deposit your key in a key safe outside the door and give you the code.
